I love all the internet tough guys who do nothing other than flame people for having a differing opinion than their own.

I can't help but think of the Simpsons episode where Bart and Millhouse are playing "Hockey Dad". To all you faceless tough guys hiding behind your internet monickers (I will get sucked into this, by nature of this post alone) "You're a big man, big man!"

Feels good to post useless, inane slander on message boards from the cover of anonymity, doesn't it?

nah, that I haven't said.. but "good Pug's" are ever better then H/H..when you have peole at your side, which know what they do..which know which points on maps are dangerous and cound end up quick in overaggros, for example due to massive pop up spawnings, which only experienced players know from the FF.

At least you can be sure, not being party wiped in an instant with Pugs, because people at least move very quick out of AoE Spells..even henchmen do this.. but our heroes are all do dumb to move out of them, unless you give them not the order first to do so >.>
When the A.I. of henchmen has even more intelligence then our Heroes...then must be imo really something wrong with the game..or heroes just fail.

I for myself at least had until know ever somehow a good hand with Pug's.
From like 90% whenever I played with a pug...I had good playing people in the team, which know what they do, didn't leaved, and didn't acted like small insulting childs. But only because the other 10% were not so good experiences.. cause sometimes someone has leaved or maybe dc'ed and couldn't reconnect...or because our group was maybe wiped once due to a little failure... I don't get irritated and say:

Don't play with PuG..play only H/H >.>

god.. for what do we play then really a MMO Game ???
Shit happens.. failures are humanous..this is an Online Game and not an Offline one. H/H is not always the best option.
Also Pug's have the advantage that you have more people, which can use PvE-Only Skills.... also only with Pug's somweone can save the whole party. if 7 have already died...the last one can quick enough run away and save all later by ressing the Monks....that's something what you will never see with H/H....therefore is the A.I. of both simple to stupid to know, when it's best to retreat to save the party.
and when you realy want have a best party for quickest success anywhere ingame.. you just make ursanway which consists of a full player team...which is either made by guild mates.. or by pug's..because with ursanway it really makes no difference, which people are now the ursans..its then only important.. that you know your monks ^^

Oh I agree if you are lucky enough to get a "good" pug then you can do better, but most pugs arent good. It only takes 1 poor player for it all to fail.

Just because its an online game does not mean you have to actively play with others.

Also its not an MMO, its a CORPG.

Yeah but thats only because they have access to an over powered skill, not that they are actually "better".

The fact is, in my experience at the very least (although many others say the same) the average pug isnt as good as h/h.

Thats why when someone is struggling with something I would suggest they use h/h, because in my experience they will do better than using a pug.

Thanks. Posts++;

If you would see all the crap OP posts here you would think otherwise. He is like one of the three stooges of nerf threads.
I have been watching the OP, and I'm glad to see that amongst the mess of threads there is atleast some hope and a few good ideas. People like you who are just here to flame are the only reason guru is avoided by average players like a plague. It's people like you who shoot them down like they've started the next world war or something, sending them packing before they get a chance to learn anything. That's the reason guru has been demoted to a bunch of new players (who know no better and will soon find out and leave), and a mob of angry middle class white kids with a superiority complex that nothing better to do with their lives. To the few helpful people still left on this shell-of-a-foum, I commend you on your efforts, but I myself have lost hope long ago.
Thanks for all your shards of brilliance and compliments guru trollers, may I now welcome your flames and petty hate speaches with open arms...

skipping through all the nonsense regarding whether someone is good or not because they make a suggestion...

I don't think candy cane, or one person DP removers, should be changed. What I think there should be is the ability to apply a candy-cane to a hero (not hench). Then again, I also think that you should be able to lock a hero onto an object to get them to pick it up. That is seriously annoying when you're a melee character in a fully H/H team & you have to carry something for a quest (tries to stop going off topic)

Using consumables like candy canes and such would be a nice extra little control over heroes, like maybe a single inventory space for each hero where you could drag something and click "use" or somesuch, or even just dragging the item from your inventory onto the hero image in your inventory.

But again, something like this isn't very important and would most likely take quite a bit of time to code.
